From the Classroom to the Boardroom: Grams Joins Career Panel at UW-Milwaukee
On Wednesday, February 11, Marietta’s Amanda Grams sat on a panel for the Business Administration 100 (Introduction to Business) undergraduate class at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee’s Lubar School of Business. The panel, organized by Dr. Kevin Spellman (known to students as “Coach”), discussed perspectives on career paths, challenges, and opportunities in the financial services industry.
Grams shared her journey from Portfolio Administrator to Partner & Chief Compliance Officer and offered practical advice to the students. “Find something you really love to do and live in that space. Becoming an expert in something you enjoy will add value to your firm and solidify your role," she encouraged. Asked about her experience participating on the panel, Grams said, “It was truly rewarding to connect with the next generation of professionals and inspire them to become the future of our industry.”
At Marietta, we believe investing in people and community matters as much as investing in portfolios. We’re proud of Grams for championing all three.
